He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Cornett and Elsie Cornett; and his siblings, Jean Barger (Tuney), Joanne Ernst (Raymond) and Sandra Crook (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Loving; his sons, Donald Cornett Jr. and Paul Cornett (Susan); his pet Coco; and his sibling Jerry Cornett (Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the American Heart Association or Hospice of Cincinnati.
