He was predeceased by: his sister Marcia; and his parents, Jack Schumsky and Bertha Schumsky. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Steffen; his children, Shari (Ronald), Jodi and Saul; and his stepchildren, Joshua (Rachel), Rebecca (Brian) and Reese.
