Donald Stephen Heithaus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, at the age of 96, Donald Stephen Heithaus in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Heithaus (Chatellier) and Joseph Heithaus; his wife Ann; and his siblings, Richard (Charmaine) and Marjorie Sheanshang (Louis).
He is survived by: his children, Robert Applegate (Heather), Kathleen Applegate, Dane Heithaus (Rachael) and Kirk Heithaus (Nadine); and his grandchildren, Ryan Applegate (Anna), Kristen Pleban (Ross), Katelyn Applegate (Jeff), Andrea Bixel, Matthew Heithaus (Mary Claire), Oscar Heithaus, Benjamin Heithaus and Mason Heithaus. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Home - Blue Spruce (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Final Resting Place Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 2600 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45214.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Matthew 25: Ministries or the Northeast Cincinnati Rotary Club.
