She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin King and Bernice King; and her brother Sam King. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill King (Pat) and Brenda Lobaugh (David); her daughters, Terri Howard (Tim), Tina Mills (Gary) and Trena Schmidt (Kevin); her grandchildren, Jessica Stevens (Mike), Melissa Little (Nick), Christopher Howard (Krista), Summer Kendrick (David), Gary Mills (Taylor), Xander, Savannah and Harper Schmidt; and her former husband Neal Jackson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Doris' honor to Samaritan's Purse at Samaritanspurse.org or the American Heart Association at Heart.org.
