She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Hinssen; her sister Betty Andres (Vincent); and her parents, Edward Smith and Goldie Smith. She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" J. Hinssen and Jennifer M. Schnizer (Mark); her grandchildren, Joseph T. and Ryan W. Schnizer; and her sisters, Katherine Schaefer (Carl), Janet Crum (Bill) and Annie Cole (Russ). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
