He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Cole and Anna Marie Cole; and his siblings, John Cole (Flo), Richard Cole, Maryanne Clark and Paul Cole (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Cole; his children, Steve Cole (Ellen), Peggy Bedel (Richard), Patti Sandman (late Arnold), Edward Cole Jr. (Mindy) and Sherri Freudiger; and his sister-in-law Betty Cole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Dominic or the VA Hospital.
