He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Mullins; and his parents, Cleo Mullins and Ellis Mullins. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Florian (late Mike) and Jo Ann Shappelle (late Kevin); and his grandsons, Sam Florian and Nick Shappelle. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
