He is survived by: his brother Robert Ratterman Jr. (Emilie); his nieces and nephews, Meggan Davison (Andy), Christian Ratterman, Elise Richard (Jerry), Chad Ratterman (Carrie), Kristin Guyer (Calvin III), Joe Ratterman (Serena), Joel Ratterman and Kait Stumpo (Tony); and his sisters-in-law, Debi Ratterman and Jenny Ratterman.

The family suggests donations in his memory to Margaret Rost School, 5858 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45248.
