He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Angst Evans; his children, Gail Evans Motz, Gregory Evans (Elaine), Daniel Evans (Christine) and Gary Evans; his grandchildren, Gary Motz (Rosie) of Mark Motz, SM, Emily Fahrig (Nick), Peter Evans, Julianne Evans, Claire Evans, Alexander Evans, Samantha VanDorpe (Anthony) and Zachary Evans; his siblings, Eileen Wiederhold, Tom Evans, Stanley "Bud" Evans, Imogene Brossart and Jack Evans; and his parents, Alice Evans and Edward Evans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marianist Mission, 4435 E. Patterson Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45430.
