He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Godby (Roscoe) and Virginia Estelle Smith; and his wife Lois Ann Godby. He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy, Shannon, Charles and Mike; his grandchildren, Karissa, Eric, Josh, Stacey, Michaela, Todd and Elijah; and his great grandchildren, Ryker, Connon, Mason Rey, Hunter, Rowan, Ashlynn, Austin and Wyatt.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St Joe Old Cemetery.
