With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin J. Gilb (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edwin J. Gilb to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Etta Faye Gilb; his siblings, Dorothy Stacy, Shirley Lynch and Raymond Gilb; and his son Garry.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gilb (Beverly), Karen Keller (Victor) and Sandra Dwyer (Tom); his grandchildren, Emily, Michael "Buddy" (Melinda), Laura, Krista (Aaron), Brandon (Emely), Jessica, Sarah, Mary (Brian) and Annemarie (Tim); and his brother Roger Gilb (Josie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross-Immaculate Church (30 Guido St, Cincinnati, OH 45202). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross-Immaculata Church (30 Guido St, Cincinnati, OH 45202).
Memorials may be made in Eddie's name to Meals on Wheels Southwest Ohio & Northern Kentucky.
