It is with sadness that the passing of Elizabeth Durrell (Cincinnati, Ohio) is shared. Elizabeth, born on October 1, 1943, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Elizabeth will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Elizabeth by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Elizabeth is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Elizabeth’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Durrell Jr.; and her parents, James Newcomer and Virginia Newcomer. She is survived by: her sisters, Sue Burrick, Lynn Lanman and Ruth Wilkes. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Westwood First Presbyterian Church (3011 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45211). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
If desired memorials may be made to the Miami Group Sierra Club or to Westwood First Presbyterian Church.
