She is survived by: her husband John Robert "Bob" O'Brien; her children, Mike Hardig (Kathleen), Mark Hardig (Carrie), Brad Hardig (Christine), Tina Acomb (David), Diane Henson (Val), John Hardig (Rene) and Steve Hardig (Karyn); her grandchildren, Caroline Galvin (Josh), Natalie Hardig, Olivia Hardig, Cara Moore (Tyler), Keith Hardig, Jayme Hardig, Oliver Acomb, Audrey Acomb, Emma Acomb, Lauren Henson, Meredith Brooks (Rich), Clare Miller (Adam), Harrison Hardig, Graham Hardig, Hillary Hardig, Owen Hardig and Sally Hardig; her great grandchildren, River Hardig, Brighton, Crosby, Campbell Moore, Elise, Christopher, Bradley Hardig, Adeline, Amelia Brooks and Margaux Miller; and her brother Bob Nelson (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Pregnancy Center West, Our Lady of Victory, or to the Alzheimer's Association, all of which held a special place in Betty's heart.
