She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Roat and Irene Roat; her husband Edward H. Schalk; and her son Steve. She is survived by: her children, Barb Dameron (late Ron), Eric Schalk (Teresa), Beth Carr (late Mike) and Peggy Schalk; Sue Rottmueller. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty's honor may be made to a charity of choice.
