We announce the death of Ellie C. Backscheider (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 50. Ellie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Keith Backscheider; her parents, Gary Mohr and Nancy Mohr; her stepchildren, Austin Tyler (Sam), Dylan (Rachel), Sydney and Ryley; and her grandchildren, Avery, Houston and Audrey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheviot United Methodist Church (3820 Westwood Northern Blvd, Cincinnati, OH 45211). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If desired memorials may be made to Hamilton County sheriff's department Anderson station, Colerain township police department, or any animal rescue.
