He was predeceased by: his wife Ursula Meyer; and his parents, Theodor Meyer and Auguste Meyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Gisela A. Holstein (Karl) of Cincinnati and Goody P. Kenney (late Toby M.) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, David Holstein (Lisa), Diane Reimert (Steve), Bryon Helfer (Tiffany), Matthew Helfer (Michaela) and Adam Kenney; and his sibling Klärchen Trienen of Germany.
