She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Katz and Ruth Katz; her husband Earl Abshire; and her siblings, Stanley Katz and Brenda Katz-Flexer.
She is survived by: her children, Ruthie Ellis-Katz, Richard Katz, David Katz (Brenda), Mary Abshire-Jacobs (Larry) and Wanda Abshire-Engel; her grandchildren, April, Stephen, Keith, Bryan, Timothy, Misty, Jason, Ashton, Chris, Michael, Marie and Johnathan; her siblings, Charles and Jerry Katz; and her stepmother Harriet Martin-Katz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Neidhard Young Funeral Home (7401 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45231). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
