She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Laaker and Rosa Laaker; and her siblings, Ruth Hessel, Verna Beatty and Virgil Laaker.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Schiele (Mike) and Gary Goldfuss (Kris); her grandchildren, Ben, Brad Schiele and Kaitlyn; and her sons, Nick and Adam Goldfuss (Courtney).
