He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jo Custer; his children, Theresa Gallagher (Brian), John V. Custer (Amanda), Christopher Custer (Holly) and Keith Custer (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Erin, Kristen, Lauren Gallagher, Mallory Sorenson, Isabelle, Jack, Nick, Brodie and Colin Custer; and his brother-in-law Carl J. Albertz (Camilla).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (3450 Lumardo Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
