It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Y. Barnes of Cincinnati, Ohio, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bailey and Mary Audrey Nunn (Duncan); her husband Donald Lee Barnes; her grandchildren, Jeremy Barnes and Annge Berry; her sisters, Billie, Bobbie and Patricia; and her grandmother Pauline (Joyce).
She is survived by: her children, GeAnn Berry (Phil) of Cincinnati, Keith Barnes (Julie) of Mt and Thomas Barnes (Christina) of Amelia, Ohio; her grandchildren, Zach Berry of Amelia, Jake Berry (Taryn) of Cincinnati, Luke Berry (Tiffany) of Newtown, Robert Barnes (Rebecca) of Divide, Joshua Barnes (Kristina) of Amelia, Donald Barnes (Cecelia) of Peebles and Kristin Jackson (Tory) of Mason, Ohio; her granddaughter-in-law Amanda Barnes of Manchester, Ohio; and her siblings, William "Butch" Nunn (Rose) of Louisville, Kentucky, Ceal Niefield of Cincinnati and Darlene Johnston of Cincinnati. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
