Frank Bruening Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Lena; the mother of his children Carol; and his siblings, Reverend Joseph, Paul, Edward, Jimmy and Margaret.

He is survived by: his sister Mary; his wife Jean Kovach; his grandchildren, Joshua, Joey, Jolena, William, Christopher, Megan and Jacob; his great grandchild August; his stepchildren, Angela Arway, Jennifer Muench (Eric), George Kovach (Susan), Megan Kovach and Mary Ayers (Joe); David Arway, Daniel Arway, Madelon Arway, Ashley Muench, Mackenzie Muench, Zachary Muench, Frances Kovach, Joe Kovach, Georgianna Kovach, Louis Bernard Kovach, Adelheide Ayers and Teresa Ayers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gilligan Funeral Homes (8225 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (8939 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249).
