He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Abel and Armand Abel. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mailender Abel; his children, Andrew Abel (Dara) and Allison Kahn (Eric); his sister Sally Neustadt (Charles); and his grandchildren, Alexandra Zoss (Andrew), Samantha, Caroline, Jonathan Abel, Madison, Lillian and Jacqueline Kahn. He is also survived by family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Weil Kahn Funeral Home (8350 Cornell Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, 8499 Ridge Road Cincinnati, OH 45236 or the charity of one's choice.
