He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepdaughter Robin Clendening (Mike); his children, Gary Athon (Jamie) and Amanda Athon (Joe Hemmerling); his siblings-in-law, Gail and Darrell Davis; his grandchildren, Erin Sanders (Matt), Derick Pies (Katie), Jacob Pies, Tyler Douglas, Avery Athon Hemmerling, Natalie Athon Hemmerling and Everett Athon; his great grandchild Haven Sanders; and his siblings, Ken Athon, Steve Athon (Vicky) and Kathy Cable (Jim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
