He is survived by: his wife Susan Condit Burns; his sons, Chris (Tess) and Brian Burns (Jessy); his grandchildren, Iris, Bishop, Ella and Malaby Burns; and his nieces, Sarah Rawley (Mike), Connie Derry (Paul) and Bonnie Rebhun (Dan).

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Old Armstrong Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, Gary would be honored to have memorials in his name to the City Gospel Mission, 1805 Dalton Ave., Cincinnati, 45214 or the charity of your choice.
