He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Dawn Kerns; his children, Gary Michael Kerns Jr., April Kerns, Johnathan Kerns, Heather, Michael Haddix, Alicia, Gus Bolser, James Kerns, Matthew and Elizabeth Kerns Mike; his brother Bob Kerns; and his niece Trista Hail.
