He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hansen and Anna Hansen; and his sister Mary Ann Hansen. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Roberts (Donnie) and Teresa Miller (Sara Cristoff); and his grandchildren, Kasie, Martin, Isabella, Gretchen, Chase, McKenzie, Cassandra, Amber, Morgan and Alex.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linnie's Pub (6113 Cleves Warsaw Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45233).

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honor Gene's legacy by memorial contributions to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
