He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Gilles and Leo Gilles; his former wife Julia Rose Gilles; and his son-in-law Steve Bambauer. He is survived by: his wife Sonja; his children, Chris (Amy), Cindy (Bob), Patrick (Pam) and Kevin (Sarah); and his stepdaughters, Tamara (Ron) and Michelle (Matt). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, her 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
