He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Horning and Lenore Horning; and his brother Neal Horning. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Horning; his daughters, Melissa Horning (Robin Bonaventura), Michelle Horning and Maureen Wright (Todd); his grandchildren, Eric Horning, Emily Wright (Matt Golladay) and Nathan Wright; and his great grandchildren, Collin, Addison and Oliver Horning.
Given his dedication to his church, family requests memorial contributions in his honor be made to Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church.
