He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Holly Laake (Nee Kuerze); his children, Gerald E. Laake (Cassie) and Jennifer Sloan (Owen); his grandchildren, Ava, Jack and Nora; his siblings, Linda Miller (Jim), Yvonne Otten (Randy), Kathy Bosse (Dave), Terri Bosse, Steve Laake (Sherry), David Laake (Jayne) and Mike Laake; and his sibling-in-law Lynn Laake.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bj Meyer Sons Funeral Home (5864 Bridgetown Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45248). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Simon the Apostle Church (825 Pontius Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery-W 8th (3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205).
