He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gildenblatt; his son Jeffrey Gildenblatt (Michele); and his siblings, Harry Gildenblatt, Sara Brateman, Esther Gildenblatt, Edith Lipsky, Sadie Schwartz and Jule Gildenblatt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Margo Leitz and Debra Mueller (Eric); his grandchildren, Carye Hutchison (Andrew), Phillip Gildenblatt, Craig Gildenblatt, Josh Leitz (Kehau), Aaron Leitz and Eric Adam Mueller (Christen); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Spencer Hutchison, Jacob, Ashley, Scarlett, Ivy Gildenblatt, Samuel, Kavika, Lev, Akea Leitz, Alexandra, Miranda and Zane Mueller.
