He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Garn and Beryl Garn; his spouse Shirley J. Garn; his son Tim Garn; and his brother Dennis Garn (Gail).
He is survived by: his son Charles Garn (Kim); his grandchildren, Jackson (Erin), Jacob (Kelly), Julie, Katherine, Karla (Chas), Kristin Adkins (Chase) and Karen; and his sister Patricia Mills (George). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church (1345 Grace Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45208).
