He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Monica Ahrens; his children, Alec Ahrens (Kate), Celia Barry (Kevin), Alex Clark (Sammie) and Matthew Clark (Grace); his granddaughter Nora Ahrens; his parents, Frederick Ahrens and Carolyn Ahrens; and his brothers, Rick and Kurt Ahrens (Eva).
