He is survived by: his children, Teresa Matheson, Karen Abercrombie (Randy), Michael Johnstone (Debbie), Stephen Johnstone (Lynn), Amy Johnstone (Kevin Hardman) and Kevin Johnstone (Lisa). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 23rd 2026 from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (2014 Springdale Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 23rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the The Kolping Haus (10235 W Mill Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231).
