He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Proffitt and Stella Proffitt; and his siblings, Kenneth, Josephine, Clell and Chuck.
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Proffitt; his son James Proffitt; his grandchildren, Jordan Proffitt (Ginna), Jake Proffitt and Sarasota Proffitt; and his great grandchild Josette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's honor to Hospice of Cincinnati or The Christ Hospital.
