He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Ward and Lucille Ward (Hart) of Cincinnati; his former wife Phyllis; his son Dennis (Sally); his brother William; his stepdaughter Ronda Luh; and his granddaughter Keri Amanda.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Luh Ward; and his children, Barry (Beverly), Brian (Nancy) and Sandra Luh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as many dear friends.
