She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Bracke, Jr.; her parents, Leo Heitker and Helen Heitker; her siblings, Leo (Mary Clare Heitker), Rose (Don Ashcraft), Margaret (Ken Laib) and Mary Doyle; her sister-in-law Joyce Heitker; and her grandson Brandon Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Susan Thul, Ed Bracke III (Lisa) and Carol Klump (Dale); her grandchildren, Benjamin Campbell (Jill), Ashley Dutsch (Aaron), Paige Bracke, Ian Bracke, Amanda Thole (Andrew), Hannah Klump and Jacob Klump; her great grandchildren, Madison Campbell, Benjamin Campbell, Audrey Thole, Austin Thole, Christian Dutsch, Owen Dutsch and Charlie Dutsch; her brother William Heitker; and her brother-in-law Bob Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Ohio Valley Voices School for the Deaf.
