She was predeceased by: her husband John Pierce; her parents, Vern Whitney and Bessie Whitney (Redlinger); and her siblings, Margaret Fletcher and Vern Whitney.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Sweeney, Robert "Bob" Pierce and Jennifer Moore (David); her grandchildren, Roger Spencer Jr. (Brandy), Michelle Spencer, Joshua Pierce, Meredith Patton (David), Maurlena Moore, Madeline Moore and Matthew Moore; her great grandchildren, Grace, Sadie, Rubie, Declan, Hayden, Alexandria, Norah, Demi, Makenna, Aubrey, Cooper, Cohen, Wyatt and Milla; and her great great grandchild Alivia.
Since Helen loved animals and held a deep respect for our veterans, memorial contributions may be sent to the Hamilton County S.P.C.A. or to the following Veterans aid organizations: Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Tunnels to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.
