He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgine Minnich (Nee Rennekamp); his children, Diane Gaal (Steve), Peggy Minnich, Michael Minnich (Pamela), Steven Minnich (Vicki), Susan Sweeney (Michael), Donald Minnich (Christina), Valerie Fightmaster (Rachel Boland) and Rae Jean Isaacs (Greg); and his sisters, Anita Balzer (Richard) and Charlotte Luttrell (Ken). He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bj Meyer Sons Funeral Home (5864 Bridgetown Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45248). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church (4366 Bridgetown Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45211). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Cemetery (4366 Bridgetown Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45211).
