He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Halpern and Sam Halpern; and his brother Andy Halpern (Cheryl). He is survived by: his wife Eileen Chanenson Halpern; his children, Jonathan Halpern and Mimi Maduff (Halpern); his grandson Ian Maduff; his son-in-law Aaron Maduff; and his siblings, Gerald Halpern (Laurie) and Ann Nichols (Greg).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Golf Manor Synagogue; Shar'rei Torah; the Jewish National Fund; Jewish Education for Every Person (JEEP); and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be greatly appreciated.
