He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Mae and Abraham Lincoln Kennedy; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine J. Kennedy; his children, Gerald "David" Kennedy (Sharon) and Kathy Kennedy-Brunner (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathan and Rory; his siblings, Gracie and Thomas; and his friend Leo Dean.
