She was predeceased by : her parents, Rebecca Johnson and Harkes Johnson; her husband James Thomas Gillis; and her sister Virginia Faye Akers. She is survived by : her sister Leah Rae Trammel (James Thomas Trammel); her son Steven Haywood Gillis; her grandchildren, Joshua Gillis, Tamara Marshall (Matthew) and Jacob Gillis (Kaitlin); and her great grandchildren, Stephen Marshall Kylie Marshall (Bailee) and Rebecca Marshall. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
