He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Osborn; his son Steven McKean; and his parents, Arlie Osborn and Catherine Osborn. He is survived by: his former wife Virginia; his sons, David Osborn (Sara), Peter Osborn (Monika) and Brad McKean (Selena); his grandchildren, Lucy Verhave (Dan), Ellie Ouellette (Jeff), Eric Osborn (Erica), Stefanie Osborn and Megan Blanton (Marcus); his great grandchild Tommy Verhave; and his sister Carolyn Bowers (Dick).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack's honor may be made to the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park or the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
