She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Tarter; and her siblings, Gloria Wells and Leo Sampson. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Tarter (Georgia), Debra Tarter, Patti Burns (Greg) and Robert T. Tarter (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Eric), Christina (Keith), Sarah and Robert; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Jaden, Aiden and Tyler; her siblings, Donna Schwartz and Frank Sampson; and her friend Tom Peck. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
