He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Robert Hammerling (Katherine), Elizabeth Stone (Brandon) and Travis Hammerling (Mary); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Levi, Carson, Lucy, Henry, Cooper, Garrett, Natalie, Lukas and Madeline; and his siblings, Steve, Dave, Paul, Jenny and Alice.
