He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Hamer; and his parents, Charles Hamer and Stella Hamer. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Kartye (Jim), Mike Hamer (Susan), Steven Hamer, Nancy Adams (Ken) and Timothy Hamer; his grandchildren, Jamie Crosby (Robert), Jessica Evans (Dan), Rachel Bonomini (Dino), Dana Vehr (Andrew), Nick Hamer (Kari MacKinnon), Leslie Finke (Ben) and TJ Hamer (Jackie Neuhalfen); and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Reagan, Hunter, Deacon, Brooks, Lenora, Samuel and Stella.
