He was predeceased by: his parents, Commodore Keeton and Rose Keeton; his grandson Brent Keeton; and his siblings, John Keeton, Cora Lee Asman and Mary Mitsch.
He is survived by: his children, Dave Keeton (Janet), Vicki Jacobs (Ron) and Tom Keeton (late Patty); his grandchildren, Kara Keeton (Vikram), Jesse Jacobs (Shelly), Nick Jacobs, Veronica Jacobs, Marcie, Leo, Izzy and CeCe Jacobs; and his brothers, Bob Keeton and Don Keeton.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the St. Jude Research Hospital.
