He was predeceased by: his sisters, Barb Berndsen, Linda Newton (John) and Kathy Berndsen. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Berndsen (Angela) and Stefanie Kathman (Mike); his grandchildren, Asher, Adelyn, Isaiah Berndsen, Emma, Andrew and Lily Kathman; his siblings, Mary Lou Morena (Tony), Tom Berndsen (late Shelley), Ric Berndsen (Connie) and Judy Dolvin (Jerry); Debbie Berndsen. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the AMVETS Post 1988, 5503 Cheviot Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45211.
