He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bengtson and Alice Bengtson (Bremer); his wife Linda Bengtson (Stamper); his sister Carol Broadwell (Bengtson); and his brother-in-law Dick Werner.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie (Robert), Valerie, Wendy (David), Kimberly (Damian) and David (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Erica, Jaimee, Kristina (Kyle), Katelyn, Matthew (Alyson), Kayla, Blake and Hunter (Evey); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Savannah, Jesse, Jace, Levi, Logan, Vincent, Monroe and Delilah; his siblings, Judy Werner of Fergus Falls, MN and Phil Bengtson (Janelle) of Kennedy, MN; and his brother-in-law Jay Broadwell of North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
