He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Ann Cunningham; his children, Jennifer Sue Houchin (Jason Houchin), James Patrick Cunningham III (Rebecca Sylvester), Shannon Michelle Cunningham and Michael Christopher Cunningham (Monica Cunningham); his grandchildren, Quintin Clay Crowe, Kayla Morgan Collett, Theodore James Cunningham and Josephine Louise Cunningham; his great grandchildren, Kinsley Mia Jouett and Kash Merrick Collett; and his sisters, Teresa "Terri" Triplett (Gary Triplett) and Charlene Moser (Paul Tabben). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes - Willow Room (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Willow Room at Spring Grove Funeral Home (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232).
