He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte 'Dee Bruns (Nee Ingersoll); and his siblings, Mary, Joan, Frank and Robert.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Bruns (Brenda), Dan Bruns (Heidi), Michael Bruns (Renee) and Ted Bruns (Maureen); his grandchildren, Michael (Brittany), Christian (Emily), Daniel (Sara Cassidy), Cole, Gabrielle, Ryan (Analiese), Kara, James 'Jay', Eric, Max and Mitch; and his great grandchildren, Robin and Rose. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
